The fabulous Miss Paula Deen *definitely* comes thru with this great chili recipe and serves them on cornmeal waffles! I added a TON of extra diced tomatoes (I drain all the juice from them though to not make the chili too watery) to cut down on the calories and made them with about 1/3 of the meat she suggests. One other idea is to REALLY cut down on the spices, she isn't joking when she calls the recipe spicy! My kids won't eat it unless I cut all the spices down to a1/3 of her recommendations. But this chili is a hands down favorite in our home!
